Waste Analysis
Yield, measured.
Slab format is a yield decision before it’s an aesthetic one. Switching from a standard 130″ x 65″ slab to FAB’s 137″ x 79″ super-jumbo format meaningfully changes how much material lands in the off-cut bin on a typical residential kitchen.

A 10′ perimeter run with a 4′ × 8′ island, full-height splash. Two finished surfaces. The same project, fabricated twice — once at standard slab format and once at FAB super-jumbo — yields the table on the right. Numbers below are typical, not best-case. Real projects vary by backsplash height, edge profile, and seam strategy.
